Aunt Sandy Updates
My Aunt Sandy (Uncle Roger's Wife) became ill last week and ended up in the hospital at the end of the week with pneumonia. She is now in the ICU with what they believe to be bacterial and viral infections. Yesterday she had 400 ml of fluid removed from around her heart and today she had a chest tube placed to help drain fluid from her lungs. The doctors are focusing on keeping her Blood Pressure up and keeping her sugar controlled - stress can make sugar levels higher.
The internet is not too reliable at the hospital, so I told Emily that I would post updates on Humzoo.
Roger, Emily, Merritt and Cabell are hanging in there. Sandy is intubated and placed under medical sedation to help her body heal. But, I know that Roger and the family would be happy to have company at the hospital. The visiting hours for the ICU are from:
10:30am - 5:30pm
8:30pm - 10:30pm

I will update on Humzoo as I hear from Emily, since she does not have a complete list of family's emails.
