The Premiere of "See You Next Fall"
December 2nd, 2008, my first big movie showing happened!

It was awesome, to say the least. We compiled a few of our previous works to show in the beginning. I put in a music video i did for 8th grade, and a movie i did with Pearl for a class freshman year. The music video was bad quality cause of me old camera, the random story-line not very told, and there was a smudge on the screen the WHOLE time. I didn't like it, but people seemed to not hate it ^_^.

The second movie was "The Creation of chicken day" at our school, a semi parody of The Birds. It took forever to shoot, and was quite random but we thought it was funny cause we knew the people in it. It got a few laughs, i was happy

Jon and Wille showed a movie they got to make at an LA film camp, "Cool Colors" I really liked it, it was put together really well and i thought it was cute. They also put in "Check Mate" a movie about a battle that turns out to be a chess match. They came up with the story-line AND managed to heard about a bunch of 7th graders and NO ONE got hurt even though they were all messing with swords and arrows. I had the pleasure to be on set the day of the battle scene. I love working with those two, they have such great ideas and a liveliness about them that just keeps the production moving. It turned out fantastic.

Dave showed his Car movie and everyone loved it, its on his site so if you haven't seen it yet go watch! You will love it.

Then the main feature came up on screen, the knot loosened in my stomach and it turned out Amazingly ^_^ We got a great response from the audience and we were all just so happy. I heard a few of us giggle at the "Soul Meets Body" Cameo.

We all got to see the "Making of" featurette for the first time and i was smiling and tearing up the whole time, Thanks for editing that together for us Dave. I really liked at the very end, Mick and I were watching stuff online, but Dave still managed to make us look productive.

Everyone clapped, and then came the Jibbley's (Spelling?) A special awards ceremony especially for us! Our face and award came up on the big screen and we accepted gave a speech and sat.

The recipients:
Pearl~ Best Attitude
Jon&Wille~ Best Hair
Mick~ Best Bully
Allison(me)~ Best Hats
Nino~ Most Awesome

I was called up and all i could think was Don't you DARE burst into tears! I truly tried to get through my whole speech thing but i was to choked up.

I was going to say:
Wow...this has been just great! I would have never believed that this would happen when i first started...I just cannot express how much this meant to me, to all of us...but ill try with a story. Its 6 50 in the morning, earlier than i even wake up for school. Its rainy, dreary outside and i just burnt my lips on my hot chocolate. We go to washington park and Dave came up to the car window. He hands me a badge and says he wanted to make things more official. I think to myself...its probably a icky picture of me and my name, most likely spelled wrong, and this day is going to be long and miserable. I look down to find a decent picture, my name spelled correctly and...Director? Im the director? I exploded and that made the day. I didn't care how many wet leaves i had to rake, how long we had to run around downtown, or how cold that Alley was, I had a smile on the whole time because of you guys and i just want to thank you, thank you so very much. ^_^

Like i said, i choked up at sat down. We gave Dave and steve their presents (Including a black shirt with some Flannel patters signed by all of us~courtesy of Nino) We walked around getting SO MANY COMPLEMENTS and approval for our film club! BTW~Dave, you should make the Club it own Channel (JIB Pirates ^_^)

I just want to thank EVERYONE for this great opportunity and making the movie, the editing, the cosy-straw-soda-combo's, the premiere, and the upcoming Club work so well.

I just cant stop saying Thanks!
~Allison ^_^

3) Sounds like you are already in charge for Oscar night when you win the award. Nothing wrong with short and sweet in speeches. I'm sure your emotional state said volumes more of how much you appreciate the opportunity and how much you enjoyed the day. Well done!

7) What a great job you all did. Director is an important job too Allison, and you did great. I was there the other night and all the movies shown were good. I like "The Creation of Chicken Day", my boss was in the movie!
