i'm baack!
i have been away from humzoo and after procrastinating for finals by reading every single entry over a week away makes me feel so lost!!
So I finished school and it is officially summer! I finished my last final last two fridays ago at 5:30 pm, came home and threw tons of stuff in a suitcase, went out and celebrated being done and then got picked up by my mom and sister at 4:30am to catch a plane to san diego!
After a plane ride full of hungover puking (sorry if that is too much detail!) we landed and got on our boat to cruise!!!!
The background of this vacation is that my mom has not had any vacation time in over three years. She was laid off back then and while she loves the following job she got delievering mail she is only part-time and doesn't have any days off or vacation times besides Sundays. My dad always takes my younger brother on trips for his spring break either snowboarding or golfing and my mom mentioned that we should take a girl trip. I jumped on that idea and next thing you know we had a cruise to mexico planned!
It's so hard to tell about a week long vacation but we cruised, went to cabos san lucas and ensenada mexico. Then spent a day after we got off the boat in san diego.
It was a great relaxing vacation, only downside is that i wanted to come back burnt like a lobster but instead every day at sea was really cold and windy... but luckily we got a little sun in cabo.

Now that i'm back tomorrow is my first day of work...i'm working for a federal judge in hartford and am SO SCARED!!!

1) Welcome back. Other than the hangover puking (yes, a little too much detail but at least I read this while NOT eating!) it sounds like you had a great trip and I can't wait to see the pictures taken. Glad you have the summer ahead of you and finals over! Working for a federal judge...hope he/she is a good one!
