Canada, eh?
I'm finally getting around to writing this blog...but last weekend I went to CANADA. Nova Scotia to be exact!
I have some friends that I worked w/ in Maine last summer that live up there and I randomly agreed to the adventure. It was not too thought out though...my only regret is not realizing how far away it is. I had to drive, take a ferry than drive some more. I guess the change up made me not add it all together...I left last Thursday at 4am and didn't arrive till 8:30pm and then on Sunday I left at 10:30am and got back to Hartford around 3am. But, eh it was an adventure!
One of the first things I did was try something Canadian...poutine, which was very tasty!

Then I was shown some of the sites...

My favorite part of the weekend was being out at the bar on Friday night w/ two of my friends from camp last summer and then just randomly banging into two other Canadians i worked with in Maine!

The highlight of Saturday night had nothing to do w/ Canada in particular...but there was a passed out Canadian that provided much entertainment...everywhere you looked there he was...

So by the end of the trip I had met many friendly Canadians, ate ketchup chips, all dressed chips, a donair and poutine and feel in love w/ their Canadian accents all over again! A very successful adventure...but I probably won't embark on a 15 hour trip by myself for awhile!
I LOVE CANADA!!!!
