Ben came home!
This weekend was a goood one!
I had the pleasure of picking Ben up at the airport on Friday night and heading straight to the bar to meet up w/ all of our friends from home!
Then Saturday after eating amazing blueberry pancakes made by Leslie, picking up a keg and swimming at Mount Tom there was a reunion party at Handelman Falls!
Not only was Ben back in CT for the first time since February but our great friend Emily was home too for the first time in over 6 months!
The party was so fun and after eating at the best hungover breakfast joint in Litchfield (Jackie's) on Sunday we still were able to convince a handful to go tubing down the Farmington River.
It was a perfect CT weekend in the hills of Litchfield County.
Monday night we were able to go out in downtown Hartford and then did some hot tubbing at a house where I'm dogsitting.
Lastly, Ben and I got some lunch w/ Leslie on Tuesday (the closest we'll ever get to a New England Humzoo reunion) and then it was off to the airport!
A perfect way to end the summer....but all of us miss having Ben in CT.... you lucky Springfielders!
