Views and War Graves in Skerton, Lancaster

Skerton is not a posh part of Lancaster and I have not needed to visit the local cemetery; I was surprised to note that it contains War Graves from WW2. I have seen many similar headstones in France.

I subsequently learned that there are 38 graves in total; I also heard a suggestion that the deceased may have been from a forces hospitalint nearby Beaumont, now closed.
