$100,000,000,000.00
Excuse me sir, do you have change for a 100 billion? It may sound strange, but that is the new currency printed in Zimbabwe. The country has experienced a- get this- record inflation of 2.2 MILLION percent this year. In January, they printed their first 10 million dollar bill. Now, they've printed a bill worth 100 BILLION.
80 percent of the population lives below the poverty line there.
Kinda puts our economic challenges in perspective, doesn't it?
Man, I'd hate to lose my wallet in Zimbabwe.
Check out the story here.

1) I'd like to try to use one of those at 7-11 and get change! :)
2) We knew missionaries to Zaire years ago who had seen nearly the same thing happen there. A local needed to carry duffel bags full of paper money in order to make a mediocre purchase.
3) Somewhere I still have the $5 Zaires they handed out. At the time I remember thinking how could the missionaries afford to give us each five bucks, and then they explained it was worth about half a cent at the time.
