Chicago's Official Food?

Since there are so many from the Land of Lincoln in Humzooland, I thought they'd appreciate this video:

Now, what say you? Anyone recognize any of these restaurants? What is Chicago's official food?

1) Lou Malnati's! We ate that at least once a week in Elmhurst. I'm going with the deep dish pizza.

2) I've eaten all of these dishes, and I'm leaning towards the pizza on this one, too; however, the "dawgs" are a very close 2nd.

3) I'm going with pizza too. Even before I moved to Chicago I knew all about their deep dish pizza. (I don't like it though). I agree with Angi as well on the hot dogs being a close second, but again, I don't like Chicago style dogs. The Detroit way is the only way. : )

5) I've never been in an UNO's, or a Chicago for that matter. I did think Peter Cetera was aight back in the day.

6) Courtney, it's funny that you mentioned the Lou Malnati's in Elmhurst. I never thought that location would survive. Lou Malnati's is primarily a north/northwest suburban franchise. Elmhurst, being directly west of Chicago, is an unusual location for them. In Elmhurst, I still prefer Roberto's and Armand's.

I don't care too much for hot dogs, but Gene and Jude's is River Forest is a classic. Their french fries are the best.

Honestly, my choice is White Castle.
