It's against the law to even harass them! I do have friends who've wrestled them- they say that the jaw is awfully strong to close, but extremely weak to open. Get the mouth shut, you win.

They almost never venture more than a foot from the water. And most of the time they're scared stiff of people. Nevertheless, they are in every body of water in Florida, estimated population of 1,000,000, We have canals running everywhere through town. Brian   Friday, May 2, 2008
