We Have LID and What It Means

First of all, it's so refreshing to actually have WINTER here in NC. Bundling up is almost as much fun as snow. And as long as it's cold, we can HOPE for snow!



Cami is bursting with excitement to share the latest adoption news!





We have received two bits of information from the China Center for Adoption.
Our dossier was received and logged in with them on Novemeber 4th.
That is the LID or Log In Date.
It is usually from this date that the official countdown begins.

Then we received notice that our dossier has been matched up with Letter of Intent and we are "In Process". I have no idea what they actually means, but it sounds like progress. And the other good thing is it sounds like everything is matching up correctly and the CCAA is not coming back to us with questions or requesting more information about something. That could still happen, but so far so good.

I still can't give a good estimate of when we will travel.
It could be February or it could be April. Or anything in between.

The rest of life is going well.
Here's a couple photos I took of the big kids (minus Lauren who is still at college).
Kegan and Jillian are standing so far apart because Cami is in the middle and really too short for a group photo but she didn't want anyone to hold her. Life is a circus!
