The Girls Room
During my first round of parenting, my children were born three to five years apart. I had a girl, then a boy, then a girl.
Now that we have Cami and we are waiting for Delilah, it gives me a special and new kind of joy to be able to say, "The Girls". The girls will share a room. We have it painted and now it is the brightest room I've ever seen! We just made up the bed and we have side rails, but since we haven't put them together, Cami is still sleeping with us. She may continue to sleep with us. Delilah may sleep with us. Mark might end up sleeping in this new bedroom. LOL!
But it is still exciting for me to say, "The girls' room is ready"! Right now it is wonderfully empty, but I'm sure that will change soon enough as toys and dolls find their way there.
The walls are too bare and too white. I'm thinking of trying to find one of those large wall decals that will match. I also have one folkart painting from China with the same colors in it. And I bought a large green paper lanturn light at World Market to hang over the bed.
The white shelf has been in every child's bedroom in every house we've ever lived in. The dolls sitting on it for now are two Chinese dolls given to Cami.

This really warms my heart. These girls are lucky to have you :)
