Happy Memorial Day
Hey Memorial Greetings to all,
Hope your day is great and full of reflection of families and heros past. Today is our daughter's 19th bday. She had hoped to play golf, alas the weather does not cooperate. I am sure her day will be joyous.
The flowers are planted, the tom-toms are growing and I am watching squirrels dig frantically in the yard looking for hidden treasure. Interestingly, the Beagle seems disinterested in their process and allows them, somewhat wantonly, to spend time in our environs.
If the weather cooperates, we will grill/smoke some ribs, have salads, and generally enjoy each others company. K made her own b-day cake and it looks faby-poo. Yellow cake with chocolate butter cream icing...all from scratch. Perhaps a pastry chef career is truly for her.
