Lucky Days - Here to Stay? There's been a pretty sweet coincidence lately.
For the last 2 weeks, I've had great luck and life has been good. I had a perfect end-of-the-summer beach trip home and ran into nearly all my friends and family between Virginia Beach and Richmond.
Then this past weekend, I won the championship of my highly competitive fantasy baseball league in a late comeback upset. Just hours later, in dramatic fashion, the Milwaukee Brewers, my bandwagon team of the last two seasons, squeezed into the playoffs on the final day of the baseball regular season.
And to top it off, my fantasy football team is off to a 4-0 start.
This convergence of rewarding events seemed too good to be true.
However, this past weekend while I was at a bar hosting a few out of town Canadian friends, we arrived at the almost obvious conclusion.
This is the third week of raising my new born mustache. It's powers were subtle at first but its clearly far more powerful than I ever imagined.
Is this always the case? As this is my first attempt, I had no clue it would have this effect. If you have a proud moment of mustache epiphany, share it.

I agree about the mustache though, most of it's power comes from the fact that it's nearly invisible, yet several inches long. It's a miragestache (TM).
So how does this work, I have to pay royalties now if I want to use that catchphrase you made up.
