Wednesday, June 4th, 2008Music to Shop To I'm working on an article on how merchants go about choosing the music that they play in their stores and need to find some subjects to interview. Do any of you know of a local (Springfield, IL) business, preferably not a chain, that is particularly noteworthy in their use of in-store music to appeal to their target demographic or to help enhance the store's ambience? It could be any type of business, from restaurants or boutiques, to accounting firms or hardware stores.
Thanks,
Dan
What a coincidence. I ate at Indigo last week and talked to the manager about the article. And my editor mentioned Little Saigon for their unique mix of Asian music and golden oldies. I guess I'll have to make return trips to both.
Thanks,
Dan
