Can You See It? The Comparison

It's been awhile since I last blogged. Not that I haven't been continuing my journey and forging on. I got frustrated when I wasn't able to post an update picture, so hopefully TODAY it will work.

Here is the original picture I posted in April (gross)


Here is a picture that was taken about 2 weeks ago.


IS there any difference? I can see some I guess. I think I have lost a few inches even since this last picture. Nothing on the scale, but oh well.

Again, the pictures are for me and holding myself accountable for my weight loss efforts.

I will say that having NOT blogged about my efforts in awhile, I have noticed a change in my motivation and determination - for the worse. :(
I need to get back on here regularly, as it is somewhat therapeutic for me and seems to help me keep my mind in the game and stay on track.

Here's hoping it works!

1) You're doing a great job. The difference is definitely noticeable. I'm sure you feel a big difference on how your clothes fit too. Keep up the good work!

2) I can def. see a difference in your abs, and your hips/waist look smaller too. Remember it's not about the number on the scale--we (as women) tend to put way too much emphasis on that part of weight loss. If you're losing inches, your clothes are feeling better and YOU are feeling good about the changes you've made, then that's all that matters. Congrats, you look great!!!!!!

6) You've made an improvement. We all see it. Rejoice in that. Keep up the good work and fight off the discouragement! Don't believe the lies that this isn't worth it- it is! Have you found exercises you enjoy doing? Or does it just feel like a chore?

And yes, I have found lots of exercise I enjoy. I feel like a complete slob if I miss a day at the gym, and I do look forward to going these days!

9) I definitely see a difference, especially in the tummy and the hips.

I might have to take your lead and take some pictures also. I know that I've been losing weight because of the way my clothes fit, but I can't prove it. Plus, there's no way to "hold myself accountable." (Good idea!!)

10) Go for it, Mrs. Shoo! We'll support you! I was glad to see the difference wasn't unnoticeable so far. I can't wait to take more in 2 or 3 weeks (assuming) NO, KNOWING that I will do even more by then!!

14) Way to go, FNF!!! What a difference...I can certainly relate to everything you are saying since I have been serious about my weight loss efforts for about almost two years now...and I am NOT giving up!!! I lost alot of weight but have not reached my goal...so I struggle on a daily basis! I have regained some of the weight i lost but not toooo much and I am still trying to lose!! That is the good news! If I give up I am sure I will regain all I lost plus some and that would not be a pretty picture and my health would suffer ~ good health is my motivation for more weight loss!!!
I recently joined the Y and have LOVED going to water aerobic classes. I don't like to miss a class...they make me feel so good...I have not seen a great weight loss since going but am not gaining....and I know the exercise is good for me and it is so much fun that I want to continue..
But a support group is so important to all of us who have weight issues and Humzoo is a great place to meet...so, I look forward to staying connected here......we can all help each other...I have yet to meet a person who was not concerned about their weight...if they are really honest!!! No matter what size they are!!!
Let's work together!!!! What do others think???
