Wednesday, June 17th, 2009Dog for Loan We are looking for some kind souls who may be interested in boarding Sam for a week at the end of July. The usual suckers....er...I mean people are away that week. We could board him at a kennel but he'd have to stay in a cage most of the time and wouldn't get much attention.
Although around 110 lbs, he is incredibly well behaved and very friendly. He can get excited easily and forgets how big he is as his entire rear end does a jitterbug.
Here are some movie examples:

He's great with other dogs: He'll play but won't keep hassling the other dog if they get tired or fed up. If he gets tired he won't get irritated if the other dog is humping him.
We would have paid the other people $10 a day for a total of $70 so if that sounds like a good deal reply here and we can talk.
I can provide a reference. We kept Carol Votsmeier's dog alive for several weeks.
Dave has met Sam and I'm not sure how keen he is on him.
Sam sniffed his crotch lots.
He said he'd do it if we can't find anyone else but we want him to stay with a family that really wants him.
He seemed concerned that Mia is afraid of dogs. He's wonderful with Lucy but, like I said, he can be a little like a bull in a china shop at times.....like when someone comes to the door or if he sees a rabbit.

Many of them have scheduled activities with the dogs, pools, "Yappy Hours," etc. It's quite a hoot! Good luck!!
