The Body Chute
Editing credit goes to Dave, as well as this week's over-tagging achievement award. This was filmed on our recent ghost hunt in Louisville, KY. The Waverly Hills Sanitorium was a tuberculosis hospital starting in the 1920s. Many, many deaths occurred here. To keep up patient morale the dead were taken down this tunnel to a train car or hearse. Out of sight, out of mind.

3) Creepy place but then any place that seems that closed in would be creepy to me. So, the steps are for you to walk and the ramp is to slide the bodies down?

There were some interesting "viewings" in that video--not sure if they were haunted or not. :)

4) That was really irresponsible of Joe Phelps to leave his motor oil down there..

7) I was thinking the whole time, "Be prepared for the loud screech and picture of Regan from The Exorcist flashing on the screen"

Then 'it' happened. Classic.

8) Scary Stuff. You people we walking awfully fast through that tunnel :) Did anyone spy anything?

Have you gotten to listen to any of the audio tapes?

9) Some people claimed to see some things. I didn't see anything paranormal, but my equipment did start to act up. In the video you can hear my walkie-talkie radio beeping uncontrollably. These were 18-mile range radios and we were never more than 800 feet apart. They worked fine before and after our trip, but in the sanitorium, no dice.

I'm not sure that I would be able to trust anything caught on audio tape since there were so many small groups going through the place independently.
