Wanted one Beach house/shack/condo for rent in NC/SC Hi Humzooers - I am in need of a little vacation spot on the beach for a weekend in the Fall/Winter to rent for a few days...It does not have to be fancy - clean is my only requisite - somewhere in NC/SC would be great - especially because gas is so expensive - I cannot afford to drive to Florida at these rates - anyway - I would be so grateful if anyone has an idea - I would love the mountains too but I know that this is high season for them and it might be difficult to find an available escape...Thank you for any referrals/ideas upfront!

1) Laurie, Edisto Beach (outside of Charleston) is a nice spot, pretty close - and likely to be warmer than any NC beaches.

pegi Thursday, September 25, 20082) Laurie, I know where there is a very Inn on the NC Coast. It is a place called The Seven Seas Inn in Kure Beach,NC. The rooms have kitchens with a refrigerator and stove,etc. For any information that you need, you can do a Google Search. There are some good restaurants nearby and a lot of things are within walking distance. Kure Beach is probably 15 or 20 miles from Wilmington,NC. You follow I-40 until it ends in Wilmington, and you take NC-421 to the town of Kure Beach. BeanCounter37 Thursday, September 25, 2008
