And !......is that the official term? What the hell was that? I was def going to go for a birthday bike ride when i looked out my window and saw sleet and snow on APRIL 28th!!!!!!!! This is a weird place I've moved to.

6) Yes, Ben, Gus told us it was graupel. I looked it up and it's true...that's the name for snow pellets. They're like snowflakes with little bits of ice attached to them. Something special for a special someone's birthday!!

8) Leslie, Your new heading is gorgeous!I think I am more affected by my kids birthday than I am my own. When my daughte-in-law turned 40 I was in shock-my son couldn't possibly be married to somene my own age:>

Graupel-who would think that my education would continue on Humzoo-I remember seeing it growing up in Michigan but we just called it that "crunchy stuff."

10) Happy Birthday to the best newscaster that lives outside of my viewing area. Or in it, for that matter.

I heard someone describe the stuff that fell out of the sky yesterday as Dippin' Dots. Seems pretty accurate, because it tasted like cookies n' cream.
