Murder in Morris-Part II

After Crissy the frog murdering dachshund finished her rampage at our pond we were left with one measley frog named Freddie. Knowing that Freddie would be needing companionship and a hot new frog babe to make cute baby frogs with, my daughter and I grabbed some nets and jars and headed to the the local pond in the center of town in search of some tadpoles. BINGO! We had great success and we added at least 10 tadpoles. For a couple of weeks we didn't see any sign of them and then all of a sudden they seemed to be everywhere.

Today 3 new frogs appeared. The first two were garden variety like Freddie only much smaller, of course.

However I was shocked and delighted when this little lady (a Leopard frog) was observed lounging on a lily pad. I am pretty sure I saw Freddie winking at her.

1) Wow...I did not know that frogs came in leopard-print. Next we will see one in hot-pink capris!

Very cool frog. Great find!

5) Aw. Poor froggie. I used to love catching tadpoles when I was a kid. My gram and I used to chart their growth into frogs. It was way better than any science textbook.
