If you're like me sometimes you're struck by how things can be unnecessarily hard. Like calling a company and talking with a live person about whatever has come up in your transaction. This list isn't very comprehensive yet, but I hope if grows:

The other thing I've found myself using from time to time is the Amazon filler item finder. You tell it how much you need to spend to get free shipping and it tells you what's avaialble for that price.

One time my order was just $2 shy of the $25 free shipping, so I did a search and got some Chapstick I had been needing anyway. Pretty cool!
