Visit to Oz?

So my sister is studying abroad in Australia and there's a slim chance my husband and I could go and visit her and see parts of Australia and New Zealand while we're there. It would be a BIG stretch financially and vacation days (ie we'd have to take leave without pay). My husband has always wanted to go to Australia, its been a dream of his for some time. What do you think? Should we try to make it happen? or should we stay home and play it safe financially and employment-wise?

1) I think you should try to make it happen. Life is short, and you may not get this opportunity again.

2) I agree with niki - life is short - it's something I would seriously consider doing.

3) If at all possible, go with it. Opportunities don't always come again and you would have someone there to assist with what to see and enjoy it all the more visiting and sharing the trip. It's never easy to make a decision like this with things as they are but if you can afford the time and $$--do it.

4) Make it happen. These chances only come once in a lifetime. Just ask my parents. They've hardly been anywhere!

5) Go for it. Knowing someone who can guide you to the best places will save you time and money in the long run. (I'm good at rationalizing!)

6) Make it happen. You never know when you'll get the chance again.
