Oh bacon! I haven't cooked this for a long time, I forgot about the smokey cloud that hangs in the kitchen for an hour after you its cooked. Another difficult aspect of frying up bacon is that the pieces seem to attract my husband who likes to eat a least two or three test strips.

1) That bacon looks good, unlike Aussie bacon. In Australia they don't cook the bacon until it is hard, they just warm it. I discovered this fact by ordering a turkey bacon and avo sandwhich. Since then I mostly stay away from the bacon in Australia, except for the few unfortunate incidences when I forget.
