RestoTrip12 Post 2After a rough night of heavy cough fueled insomnia, I managed to get 2 hours of sleep before being woken up by another guy's high pitched fire alarm style clock, that was turned on by accident.
I gave my devo today, which I believe went over fairly well.
But today we cleaned two group cabins. The first one took nearly all 4 hours, but the second one finished an hour early after we all got in our groove. Speaking of, since we grabbed some speakers, we were able to listen to some CCR and Bob Marley as we went, so that was pretty sweet. Larry Roberts came by and cooked some awesome meals for us. We also met with one of the guy's parents for lunch, since they will be leaving for Haiti tomorrow.
Tonight, I've decided to turn in early to make up for last night. We don't need to be up until 9 tomorrow, either, so a good 10 hours should do me good.
Tomorrow afternoon, we move into the lodge, where we can completely unpack for the week.
We've also managed to work it out to see the LCU Choral tour at their Clinton performance tomorrow. Looking forward to experiencing that as well.
So far, so good.
Let's see what the rest of the week holds.
