11) Merrick's list sounds pretty good to me except for her husband (not that he wouldn't be useful to have around with his height and strength!). Layla would certainly be fun for company. I wouldn't need the chocolate since I wouldn't have an oven to bake with. Swiss Army knife for sure, cooking pot, flint fire starter, field guide would be great, books, good shoes, tough clothes, shelter would be nice, line for fishing and other rope needs. I suppose it would be too much to have a huge box of space food since I'm not good at foraging or cooking. :)
