30 Minute Christmas
Unlike some families that take 2+ hours to open their gifts (ahem, I won't mention any names), being just Richie and I it was a 30 minute Christmas.I had a rough sleep last night and was awake far more than I'd have liked. Needless to say, we slept late, because this is the last year we can. So around 10:45 am this morning our baby decided it was time to move around. Richie and I stayed in bed for a good half hour feeling the baby move, bounce and kick! Merry Christmas to us!!!
We wandered into the living room, grabbed the couple of gifts we had for one another, our stockings (even one for Scooter) and sat in the floor. I loved the things Richie picked for me, while I'm baking with my new apron I'll be smelling really good! Richie loved his Snoopy Sno-Cone maker! He put it together immediately and took it to the kitchen straight away to "test it out". He made the ice but not an actual sno-cone....not yet anyhow. :) Scooter has run himself ragged playing with his new toy.
Now Richie is cleaning the kitchen and will make us something for lunch. We had our "Christmas dinner" yesterday afternoon; so I'm not too sure what we'll be eating today. I should have plenty of time to get some pictures uploaded and maybe even a video!
Merry Christmas Humzooers.
Now we're trying to figure out what to do about dinner. The way I made dinner yesterday there were no left overs.
