The Amazing Noah! Our Noah has changed so much so fast. It just amazes me!
He is repeating words now. Yesterday morning he asked me for bacon, pronounced bay-kun. He is into everything out of curiosity. He takes his clothes off...and his diaper. Last week we switched him from his high chair to a booster seat at the table. he loves it! He looks like such a big boy eating off a real plate with silverwear at the table with us. The sweetest thing ever happened the other night at the table. He reached over and started rubbing gently on my arm and shoulder while smiling at me. I'd say, "Thank you" and he'd rub again. He was so tender and sweet...as though he was comforting me. Then a couple nights later he leaned over in his seat with his little head tilted back. When I leaned in towards him, not knowing what to expect, he kissed me! Then he leaned over and kissed Richie. We went back and forth like that several times before he stopped and finished eating. I could just cry! He's so sweet!
He loves to hide under blankets with you. He just dances in place while squealing and giggling. He wrestles with daddy more and more. Just last week, while Richie was holding him, he put his leg out to 'play' roundhouse kick me. I'd yell and fall backwards...he would just laugh!
He has pooped in the tub twice. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life. His current obsessions are being outside, which isn't particularly safe at our house, and buckles. He screams, arches his back and freaks out when you take him out of his booster seat, car seat, stroller, or shopping cart. I'm not so strong these days. He will bring his legs up pressing his knees into my upper belly and push himself off while arching his back throwing himself out of my arms. I almost dropped him twice in the parking lot today because of this. This scares me really bad.
He is putting 2 words together. He is trying to run backwards. He is trying to jump and can jog in place. He is learning how to open and manipulate things until they open. He is becoming more independant and more needy all at the same time. He is turning into his own little person, and I'm so blessed to witness it!
He brings me more joy then I ever imagined. His little face shines when he smiles. He knows just how to melt your heart. I'm excited to see what kind of older brother he's going to be. I have a feeling the fun in this house is just beginning!!
