Last month Richie and I had a ridiculous conversation.
Richie: I'm gonna ask you a question and I want you to be honest, okay?
Me: Okay...
Richie: Ryan said there is room on his (church) softball team.
Me: Okay...
Richie: It cost $35 to register.
Me: Okay...
Richie: Do you mind if I play? Would that be okay with you? How do you feel about that?
Me: I should kick your butt for asking me that! Go! Play! Have fun!
Richie: Are you sure?
Me: Don't ask me again.

We've been going to this wonderful church that has been so amazing for us. We both really feel the sprit while we're there and in all the people we know from there. Richie is changing because of this church ball league---for the better. I didn't think it was possible for him to be any better a person than he already was but God knew and He's showing me now just how wonderful my husband is, and what great potential we have as a Godly couple. Sorry for that crazy runon sentence. LOL

The last few weeks I've sent Richie on his own and used that time for myself to spend with Amanda and Natalie. Last night I went with him to the game. I've never been to a ball game before...I wasn't sure how loud to scream and found myself just getting excited when they (anyone, either team) hit the ball. I'm silly; I know.
I tried to snap a couple shots, but with our standard digital camera it's hard. It did a fantastic job of focusing right in on the chainlink fencing. I apologize ahead of time for the poor quality.

He's batting.

He actually hit the ball and had to run. I tried not to laugh.

This was so awesome; they started and finished each game with prayer. I didn't snap this while they were praying but moments following.

It is so much fun. I just might have to go back.

This is the kind of ball game I like...no one yelling or screaming at one another, no parents barking at their kids or other parents, just some nice fellowship and fun!

He told me today he really enjoyed it. I heard last time that he got a minor injury and it wasn't much fun. Glad it is getting to be more fun and less injury!!
