For LGrant
Your bird picture reminded me of this little video I have from my AR visit recently. This bird does this all day, almost every day. They work out at the front door too. Before I woke up the bird followed my mother around all morning from one window to the next.

1) Crazy. He doesn't seem to leave a lasting impression on the window though. I think he has learned how hard to hit. LOL

Thanks or the video...made my day!

2) Ashley, did you ever stop to think that the bird could be someone your Mom once loved? A parent, maybe or a sibling...especially if it follows her around and is attempting to get her attention.

3) Angi, are you talking about reincarnation? We don't believe in that.

I'm not sure if it is this same bird, but this bird has done this for years. The front door antics and the being followed is new this year though.

Linda, I'm glad I could make you smile. And no, he doesn't hit it too hard; just hard enough to leave beak marks all over the windows. He's had years of practice!

4) Don't really have to believe in reincarnation for it to be a sign...just sayin'. I mean, my mother has had one squirrel in her yard since my father passed away who has eaten out of her hands and sits with her on the deck. Every day, rain or shine, snow or sleet. It's almost like having a dog! He doesn't care for anyone else--just her. :O)

5) Oh I see what you mean. We don't have any recenlty deceased family that was close enough to her for this to be the case.
