Summer
The end of the school year is so hectic. It seems like everything happens at the end of the year. Every night of the week is filled with shows, awards banquets, baseball games, etc. I am so proud of my children this year. They have all done wonderful things. Dare I say this has been the best school year ever.

Ryan has really made great progress in first grade. With a little help from the Reading Recovery Program, Ryan has improved his reading level, and has developed a love for books. His behavior has been wonderful. He got a smiley face 2 weeks in a row. WoW!!!!!!

Will has made the honor roll all year, and was inducted into the honor society. He was given "best effort" in football for a week at the end of football season, and has a piece in the Art Show at his school. (Thanks Bek) . He is doing great in Band and loves playing percussion.

Kevin has also had a great Sophmore year. We have had our ups and downs, but everything has worked out for the best. He loves being on the newspaper staff and has had several articles published in the school Newspaper. He has been on the Honor roll for the 3rd nine weeks and, as of this moment prior to exams, he has straight A's. He competed in Charleston, at the FBLA conference, and although they didn't place, it was a great experience for him. He has taken up golf, and plans to join the golf team next year.

As for Summer plans, I will be working at a summer camp for several weeks this summer. Will has football camp most of the summer. We will be camping a good bit, I hope. Kevin is currently looking for a job for the summer, not having much luck, but I am sure he will find something eventually. Just hope to have alot of family quality time.

1) That's quite a year. All three kids sound like they do well in school and in other areas as well. They sound happy and well-rounded. Kevin may have some options for summer with companies trying to hire more part-time and get rid of the people who require benefits. Hope he finds a good one! Sounds like you have a great summer planned for the family as well.

2) See you in Raleigh,NC on September 3, 2009, when the Gamecocks come to Wolfpack Country. You may not be able to come, but the game is going to be on ESPN at 19:30 hrs. that night. Let Will watch and he will see two great teams.
