dish hookup question

Yesterday, I was the lucky recepient of a used "Sponge Bob" TV from my sister. Evidently her 15 year old child does not appreciate this fine piece of technology any more. We will be installing it in my daughters bedroom.

The problem that I have, and I was wondering if anyone could help, is that I dont know how to hook it up to my dish network. We got satellite to replace our cable system about 6 months ago. Initially we had the dish-guy hook up 3 TVs. One in the master bedroom, one on the main floor and one in the basement. We have 2 "controller boxes". ( I guess each box can control 2 tv's, so we should be able to hook up one more tv)

Do I just need to call them, or do I need to fool around with the cables in the basement.(all of the cable come into our house in the furnace room in the basement) My daughters room, where I will be putting the tv already has a cable outlet in it and it used to work with the old system.

Any and all advice would be appreciated, as I have no idea how to do this myself. I would at least like to give it a try before calling the satellite company.

thanks

1) Did you do a Google search? I am sure someone has posted something.

2) Some Dish receivers are capable of "dual mode" but most are not. You probably have one dual and one single mode receiver. This technical site can help you out if you can't tell easily from the receiver itself or its manual:

I think you'll need to call Dish.
