Did we lose a day?

I feel llike I lost a day somewhere! I guess it's somewhere in Iredelll Memorial Hospital. My mothers surgery was scheduled for Monday, it didn't happen until Tuesday afternoon late. Yesterday was a fog and today she is in a room with a view. Her room is very nice ane the nurses are first class, not to put down Hannah, Jason, and Anita in ICU. They were sensational. Of course, Mama is an easy patient. She got a little confused yesterday afternoon. She thought she was in the "nurse's homes" and she was bothering them....They almost called me! II guess they all wanted to take her home with them and they wanted me to decide which nurse would get her, LOL. She had the typical reaction to anesthesia and she is going to be ok. The family minus Tyler came to see her last night. Dad even took us "out" to the cafeteria for dinner. He was so proud that he fed all of us for about $16.00. Tyler will see her today. Whew, I am glad she is officially on the mend!! Love, Gigi

I am happy to hear that your mom is doing well. I hope she has a quick recovery and is pain free soon. That is a big procedure for someone who is 86. Its important that you take care of yourself and get some rest while you can

Hope you have gotten some rest today. I know you weren't feeling good last night (you, Denny, Niki, Dylan...and I hear Kitch too...anyone NOT sick?). You've had quite a week but I know Mom really appreciated you being there and being so supportive and helping her with all the things that went wrong, went right and shifted directions. Hope the box made it today and you got the flowers picked up too. Tell Mom I will be calling to talk!
