Thanks everyone for your book suggestions. I went to the library yesterday and tried to find them all. The university's library had about half of them. Some of the others I can get through Interlibrary Loan. But for now I've got enough to keep me busy for awhile. But they'll have to wait until tomorrow- tonight I plan on getting disappointed by the new Indiana Jones flick.

1) Sweet, you got the Painted Bird. You'll have that finished in a couple of days no problem....you'll be a little disturbed and dazed by the end.

2) Looks like an awesome stack of summer reading! Good luck with Indiana Jones tonight - do you plan on reviewing it on Humzoo? I'm interested to see how it is, but too broke right now to actually go see for myself :-D

3) You gotta let us know what you think of the new Indie movie. I usually trust your movie reviews. Ok, I hardly ever do. Well to be honest, I trust the opposite of your reviews. But at least I have something to go on.

6) Wow Sally Pants, nobody reads the books I reccomend except my Mom. I'm flattered, and I think you'll really like the BFG.

Have a wonderful weekend, enjoy your books, I can't wait to hear about them!

8) Unless Carmike Cinemas wants to open up a theater at the power plant, we gotta go to them. I'll hold off on a review since I'm sure a lot of people plan on watching it this weekend...but I will say that Harrison Ford is still one sexy beast. And since that's the only nice thing I can say about the movie, I'll stop there. So that means Dave will probably love it.

Lionheart- I read The BFG last night. Very enjoyable read. After I finished, I looked up Dahl and I feel pretty dumb admitting this but I didn't realize he's the one who wrote James and the Giant Peach (LOVED this book as a kid) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

11) We have Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And I've been meaning to get James and the Giant Peach and BFG. I remember a teacher reading us BFG in school, and I loved it.

17) K8Day, Corduroy was my favorite. We have that one and several of the Harold books, did you know there are others?

Sally, I love Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I remember a teacher reading that one too. We just got it for Ethan with his birthday gift card.

19) Has anyone seen the Scaredy Squirrel Books? They're superb....its just a matter or time before I buy all 3 for Lucy.....actually, they'll be as much for me as they will for her.
