Andrew and his brother, proud owners of Mirus Research (the nation's leading researcher of miruses) recently bought some new office space. It's in an old power plant in the Soldiers' and Sailors' Home. A few years ago, a couple bought this property and turned half of it into a swank apartment; the other half is unfinished. Andrew hopes to get the unfinished side ready for his company to move into within the next few months. Andrew plans on keeping the living space intact in anticipation of future marital separations.

On Friday night, Andrew's parents and my parents met up with us in the new digs for a pizza party. It was a "shockingly" good time. And it gave me a chance to try out my new camera.

1) Yes, it was a wonderful time!!! Thank you again, Sally and Andrew. It was great to spend some time with your delightful parents, Andrew. We don't see them enough. Laughter is the best medicine (not that anybody's sick). The power plant acquisition is so exciting...and what a surprise to walk in and see ultra-modern living quarters complete with a media screen the size of the huge wall and a little pool with running water and I don't know how many televisions embedded in the walls!! Very, very cool. We want to be invited back sometime....hint, hint!!

2) Dude, I think I seriously saw the "before and after" website of the guy with the swank apartment a couple years ago.

So weird and deja-vu-ish.

3) "Mirus" Research... hm... Sounds like a fancy name for the Miley Cyrus Fan Club.
