Monday, April 6th, 2009 Let's start at the very beginning... It's a very good place to start.
Life would be better if people really did just spontaneously break out into song and dance.

1) Those are crazy fun! I think I like the first one best. I've always said musicals are happy addictive things--much to everyone else's chagrin. :)
I love how people thought at first it was weird and then wondered and then got sucked into it. I'm not sure the second group ever got that involved and just kept the "these people are nuts!" look. :)LGrantMonday, April 6, 2009
2) I love the first one.
These crack me up!brennaMonday, April 6, 2009
3) The first one is awesome! And the folks in the second one were weird...would've been better if they'd done something more well known and had more folks involved.AngiMonday, April 6, 2009
4) LGrant, it's the movie theater effect. The more people involved, the more, err, involving it is.
If you want to see better efforts from the same group (the second video, that is), search Improv Everywhere. They're probably most famous for getting over 200 people to freeze completely in place for 5 minutes in Grand Central Station, though I'm partial, for obvious reasons, to their 50-redhead protest of the Wendy's logo in downtown Manhattan.ScottMonday, April 6, 2009

8) Awesome videos. I think I like the second best, although I can imagine how much planning they each required. Very nice - thanks for sharing. I've seen the one before where people froze in Grand Central Station. That was spooky!Dave HeinzelMonday, April 6, 2009
9) I think the people in the second one probably had to have more courage. That one woman who started it. It has to be tough singing to a group who is looking at you like you are mad. LOLLGrantMonday, April 6, 2009
10) haha! Yes, i have seen the Grand Central Freeze too but not these. Thanks for sharing.SpikeTuesday, April 7, 2009
11) I have seen one like the first one. They had a thing on how it was done and everything. It took MONTHS to do. They auditioned for people that did NOT look/dance like dancers. They had a dress rehearsal at like 2 am and stuff. It was really good.runtTuesday, April 7, 2009
12) I recently saw the first one. The second is hilarious. I wish I was there to experience it. Fun!LeslieTuesday, April 7, 2009
