Mom
On April 10, I lost my mom to a long battle with Alzheimer's and most recently pancreatic cancer. I was very fortunate to have her around for 80 years.

I want to thank all my friends and family for everything they have done, especially my sister Nancy Hood and her husband Tom Pranger for giving mom the best care that anyone could ask for.

All sons are biased, but my mom was such a great lady who always had a smile on her face as you can see from the pictures. One great quality that my mom had that I have much to learn from is that she never ever once thought of herself, only that of others around her.

This slide show is a tribute to Mary Ellen Hood and the inspirational life she had.

2) Sorry about you losing your mom. She sounds like an amazing woman and it also sounds like she is leaving quite a legacy with her family. A very nice tribute to a special person in your life. You have some amazing photos of her through the years.
