9) Its been a long time since I've seen it snow 16 inches. You can't imagine how that much snow would cripple things in NC! I would like to see it but not live in it again. Please take some pictures for us.dannieFriday, October 10, 2008
10) That's a lot of snow for one snowfall. MN rarely got it in that kind of quantity but instead built it up over several snowfalls. The one I always remember is the Halloween Blizzard some years back where we got more than 20 in. in a night. The one and only snow day I ever saw in MN--it was too high to get the car out and the plows couldn't do the sidestreets for working to get the main roads cleared. Can't wait to see the photos, Emmy Ann!LGrantFriday, October 10, 2008
11) I think the forecaster is full of crap. It will probably snow today but the only place we will be getting 16 inches is in the mountains. It snowed up there over night but nothing in the valley yet. I'll keep you posted!Emmy AnnFriday, October 10, 2008
12) Mountain snow makes more sense. Who ever believes the forecasters? When they call for flurries, you get dumped on; when they put out winter storm warnings, you get a few inches. LOLLGrantFriday, October 10, 2008
