1) We visited Ely, MN two summers ago and loved every minute of it. Have you had Dorothy's root beer and taken the tour of her home? Did you visit the Back Porch or listen to any of the concerts? My wife's sister and her husband spend the entire summer in Ely every year. They are there now. We even love their radio station and listen to it throughout the year over the Internet.
