The Crash

Well it finally happened. My horse Magnum wigged out on me Monday. Long story short, he SHOOK like a wet dog (while I was riding) then stumbled hard, and I was unseated. He panicked when I landed on his neck and started running. No amount of WHOAING and pulling on that bit would stop him. I did make the 8 SECOND buzzer (jk) and eventually we crashed into a fence. He's OK, but I have a large fence burn on my left arm, which I used to break my fall. Hmmm. I did get right back on after about 5 minutes of breathing.

I guess my number was up.

1) Yikes! Glad to hear you're ok. Did you have to whip out a bottle of Elmer's and be all "Is this what you want to happen? Didn't think so, tough guy!"

3) My realtor had her horse experience last year and had to show houses in crutches and a boot. Hers got shipped off to a "now you will behave" place. I'm glad you two worked it out afterwards. That's a big animal to panic!
