Please hold the Green Goo
Before leaving Springfield on my way to the airport this morning to drop off amber...we decided to get a breakfast of champions...McDonalds Bacon Egg and Cheese.
The last time I ate a McDonalds breakfast was with Amber....and she noticed that spread generously inside her sandwich...was a nasty green sauce.
It was so odd to us we thought maybe it was trying to promote the Shrek movie that was out at the time.
Well.....upon ordering our breakfast today...Amber noticed her bagel was covered in the green goo again. It was so nasty.....I think it has finally made me decide never to eat breakfast at McDonalds ever again.
Anyone know what the hell that stuff is?
Journalism Note: Yesterday...while getting ready to interview a cop about a shooting in Southeast Springfield. The Lt's radio went off about ANOTHER shooting happening as we were speaking. I turn to the Lt and said....."ummm.....I guess this can wait....and I'll follow you over there?"
Good timing. Talking with a neighbor of a shooting yesterday he believes there will be some serious gang violence this summer. To lighten the mood I will be covering the history of the Walmart logo all week at work.
Quinnipiac Hockey Note: Quinnipiac's season came to a tragic end with a 3-1 loss to the Harvard Crimson in Bean Town last night. This concludes my Quinnipiac bantar. And saves myself several hours of listening to my crappy computer speakers. It is also the death of my Quinnipiac Avatar. Goodbye Avatar....you have been good to me
