I opened it...
Me: Hi there
Cable Guy: Hi....did you know there is a dead body down your hall?
Me: Excuse me?
It wasn't an April fools joke....I put a call in to the newsroom who already knew what was going on....most likely a suicide. I was welcomed to my first full day in my new apartment with a full crime scene investigation team in my parking lot. The worst was the Cable guy who said "if you go down the hall you can smell it"
No thank you...I think I'll stay on my side of the hall.

Although....generally speaking news stations, newspapers, and radio do not cover suicides unless it is someone of note (mayor, celeb, so on..). I think it is one of the most honorable things news sources still do. So if you come across a dead body sometime in your life and there are no reporters around.....its a good hint as to what happened.
