1ST time out on the course

It's June 17th....and today was my first day out on the course. Ouch.

Clearly from my last post there are not alot of golf lovers out there on Humzoo....which is too bad...cause golf is awesome!!!

I am a horrid golfer. I always feel like I get more for my money if I hit the ball a few more times. Today I headed out to Brook Hills Country Club on the outskirts of town. It was $9 for nine holes...awesome deal! I shot a 42...which was 11 over par...at that point who is really counting. I always walk away from the golf course not thinking about the endless bogies and double/triple bogies...but the two pars I had.

I think I'm going to make this golf thing a weekly event!

1) Why don't you take a lesson? Better yet, you need to visit your golf nut relatives in Gainesville. They will give you plenty of advice on improving your golf game.

3) I love golf. I played through high school and bit in college. The last few years I made a point of getting back out there more often. Still, I wish I played more. However, I don't watch the pros too often.
