If I Die...it might as well be in a black hole
A new atom smasher set to turn on in August could be the end of our planet...
I had heard about this project before and cnn wrote an article about it today. Scientists have created a machine to find new dimensions. One scientist believes the chance of the machine causing global disaster is about one in 50-million. I sometimes play mega millions where I have a one in 175 million chance of winning the big bucks.
Nice to know there is a greater chance of dieing in a black hole than becoming filthy rich. sigh.

Sarah S. Monday, June 30, 20082) I think the 1 in 50 million was an arbitrary figure meant to reassure us all that there is an extremely negligible chance of this happening. The chances of you winning a lottery are a little less subjective.
