2) Sounds awesome! Good luck on your adventure. My only advice is to make sure that you have enough layover in NY. When Denny and I went to Europe a couple of years ago, our plane was delayed to NY because of bad weather in NY. I thought well if the airport is all backed up, they will not leave us. As we landed on the runway and approached our terminal, we watched our flight to Madrid take off in front of our eyes. We could not get another flight out until the next night, and that was after we had to fly from Newark to Atlanta, GA and spend the day in the GA airport. Fun times! niki   Tuesday, July 15, 2008

3) Have a great time and beware of pickpockets in crowded places. Switzerland is a beautiful country (funnily enough, my mum is there right now I think....probably in Geneva or Basel). 9) Ben, I did the same thing when I was young except I spent the summer working as a waitress in Paris and then my roommate and I traveled around Europe at the end of the summer. We ended up in Geneva one day which didn't have any vacant hotel rooms so we spent the night in a park (this was after getting thrown out of the bus station because we didn't have a ticket). I can recommend a good park bench in Geneva! We also hitchhiked through France and ended up in a Monte Carlo casino. You're in for the adventure of a lifetime!!!! Can't wait to hear about it!! 14) I spent some time in Geneva a few years ago. Old Geneva is beautiful. We also spent time in Bern and Zurich. Beware of crossing the street because pedestrains don't get much respect. You don't want to get hit by a Volkswagon! And eat fresh chocolate croissants for breakfast. Mmmmm....
