Humzoo March Madness - 1st Half Recap

We've gone through two rounds of The NCAA Tournament, and now it's time for a break. Those of you who have been spending waaaay too much time in front of the TV watching basketball: It's time to return to your families, your jobs and your normal lives. If only for a few days.
There have been some upsets and some no-brainers. Some blowouts and some nail-biters, but one thing is for certain, losing Duke and UConn this early in the tourney struck quite a blow to several brackets in the pool.
But not to worry, when a high-seeded team goes down, we all go down.
SpringfieldRewind.com and Betsy are tied in 1st place, with osner and Pearch close behind. Betsy already has two Final Four teams knocked out of the tournament, and SpringfieldRewind.com has alot riding on Louisville, so there's a good possibility for the two 1st place contenders to fall early in the Sweet Sixteen Round.
Our fearless leaders Dave & Denny are bringing up the rear in spectacular fashion. I might have to think up some sort of consolation prize for the lowest score at the end of the tourney.
Here's a shocker, who would've expected 12-seed Villanova to advance to the Sweet Sixteen? I suppose we should've guessed that a Catholic school would clean up on Easter Sunday. Looks like someone was watching out for his peeps. (Not the marshmallow ones.)
UNC is mopping the court with the competition, as usual, and Louisville is making a real go of it this year. I am pretty much attributing Louisville's success to the massive increase in the "coolness factor" of the city since I moved here.
The tournament resumes this Thursday, March 27th. Everyone relax for a few days, enjoy a normal week back at your jobs (boo) and get all your work done early so you can totally shut down again later in the week and really focus in on your game.
Good luck everyone!

1) Way to go Betsy and SpringfieldRewind.com! I am not doing so hot anymore. I am pulling for Davidson all the way now. When I was doing well, someone at work asked me if my husband helped me fill out my bracket. Funny thing is, Denny probably knows less about basketball then I do.
2) Niki, whatever.. you thought basketballs were green until I told you they were blue. Silly you!
3) What a crazy weekend of Basketball! My bracket has imploded in on itself. I really wanted to get behind Davidson but didn't think they had a chance...WOW, was I wrong. Sorry Georgetown. I was right about Duke though...they stink. And how about them Heels yesterday! The entire squad got shots in! It was kind of a ridiculous game. When Tyler made that dunk and then slipped and fell like a hockey player on ice...I thought...maybe that was karma's way of saying, "Okay, now you are just showing off." That boy is talented and I realize he couldn't help that he jumped so high that a dunk was in order.
4) GO HEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO TYLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5) I've been crying ever since Uconn lost. First time my boy Jim Calhoun has lost in the first round! Looking forward to more madness.....I want to see Davidson in the Final Four!
6) It's Wednesday now and I"m having withdrawal pains!!!!! We need more basketball games!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring on more games!!!!!!!!!!!
7) I know. I have felt a little "off" all week, and I think it's because there's no basketball...
8) Got basketball???
