I Can't Wait to Be Laid Off!

Next week, Thanksgiving week, is our second mandatury furlough for the year at work. I am reeeeally looking forward to this one. I am looking at it as a week off, rather than a week unemployed.

I am totally excited. My mom is coming for the WHOLE week and we are going to work on the house. Totally girly things, of course. Painting and crafting and house decor stuff. We will probably finish the armoire and finally bring it into the house. Finish the fence... and lots of other items on the agenda. I will be sure to post lots of photos (if I can find my camera charger).

I am also super super excited to spend a whole week with my dog! He's been without companionship all day while we've been at work, so it will be good to get some lovin times with Fargo. My mom is going to love him too. She's a softie for puppies.

Joe should be working the early shift at work all week too, so he will be able to come home and hang out with us while it's still light outside! Yay!

Then for Thanksgiving, we're all going to Joe's parents' house for a big family meal. I can't wait! Then on Friday, my brother and his girlfriend are coming to visit for the weekend, and they're bringing THEIR dog too!

Man, this week is going to be fun overload.
