Humzoo March Madness - Recap S16 & E8

What a great weekend of basketball.
Yesterday alone was an awesome day for sports in general. Sleep in, wake up and watch the NHL Penguins take on the Rangers in the 'Burgh. Then, maybe watch a few minutes of golf from the New Orleans Classic. Next up, some sweet NCAA Tourney action with the Elite 8 facing off for a chance to go to the Final Four.
Finally, baseball's opening night at the brand new Washington National's stadium.
What a great Sunday!
As far as the Humzoo March Madness Pool, things have been shaken up a bit. Some former leaders have fallen, and some steady-as-she-goes brackets have proven to outlast the rest.
Osner and Pearch are still holding strong in the top three with some really great late round choices. Pearch managed to pick EVERY game correctly in the East bracket, which is quite impressive, and makes for hella points. Not to mention picking the correct final four. Way to go.
Osner put a little too much faith in Louisville. They were no match for UNC's raining threes and their 2nd half, one-man offense in Tyler Hansbrough. That boy is ridiculous. One of the announcers kinda said Hansbrough is better than Jordan. WOW.
How do you even compete with that?
Our current leader, Pike, has a solid bracket going into the final rounds, with all but one pick in the green for the Elite 8 & all the correct Final Four teams. Good work.
Our fearless Humzoo Leader Dave is still holding strong at rear of the pack. I like to think of him as the guy at the end of the line in Tug-of-War with the rope tied securely around his waist. He's keeping us all above water.
We have another few days of basketball drought to get through until the Final Four kicks off on Saturday. Keep strong everyone.
LET'S GO PENGUINS!

How about that Davidson game? Dang, they were so close. What a great game, up until the last minute. I was so bummed, I really think they deserved to win that game.
