New Jorb!

I am going to skip over my dream last night about an epic-long date with Jordan Knight of NKOTB to tell you about my exciting, life changing news...

Starting May 9, I will be taking on the role of Director of Membership and Communications for the PGA, Kentucky Section.

I've been interviewing over the past two weeks, and as of Wednesday of last week, it was down to me and one other person. Thanks to my amazing references, my experience gained at Girl Scouts, and a couple good words from people in the PGA... I WAS OFFERED THE JOB!

I really cannot wait to get started. It sounds like it's going to be a really great job, tailor made for my skill set. I've already received several emails from members of the PGA welcoming me to the Kentucky Golf family. That makes me feel really good about joining the team.

I am also very excited to get back into the sports marketing field. I've missed it alot being in the non-profit sector, which is WORLDS away from anything I've done in the past.

I've learned so much at Girl Scouts. Made some life-long friends (just like in my Brownie days), and learned so much that's helped me advance in my career. So all in all, I am glad I was able to spend a few years here.
