I've become a coupon lady!

Does anyone else do this? I would love to be a part of the humzoo couponing club!

CVS items... $65 of merchandise for only $19. I give myself a B- today. Still learning!

Since the above purchase on 9/11/11, I've taken four more couponing trips and saved $130.83!

My husband has become obsessed with coupons. His biggest victory was getting 32 boxes of pasta for FREE! We have enough deoderant, toothpaste, and body wash to last a lifetime. It's amazing to think we used to pay full price for things! Southernsavers.com is our main source.

We love coupons! I've been slacking lately but I need to get back with it. We save a fortune with them.

Where do you find most of yours? We quit buying the Sunday paper since it doubled in price. We use coupons.com, redplum.com and smartsource.com. Also our store puts out a monthly flier of coupons.

Sadly I don't use most of the stuff that gets a coupon but I've heard it is a great way to save money.

I have used coupons off and on most of my adult life. Its harder for just 2 people as storage is an issue and things get out of date before we can use them up. I still uusally score well at CVS. I always dig through their 75% off basket. Some local stores will run double coupon specials and I will have the nerve to ask my nieghbor's for their papers if I know something I need and use has a coupon.

Snelly - We have stopped purchasing the Sunday paper as well. Even though the price doubled, I do not see anything else within the paper that has doubled. In fact, I usually only see one booklet of coupons now opposed to the two we used to received.

I have a love/hate relationship with coupons. If I could discipline myself to only use the ones that I actually need, it would be fine. However, I tend to go overboard and buy things that I never would have bought in the first place which is probably not saving me any money.

That's exactly what we thought to, Ericka. We never bought it every Sunday to begin with. But occasionally it was a nice treat to sit and read the paper together when we had no plans. Now we'll never buy it.

It took us a little bit to get in the habit of only clipping coupons for things we actually use. We don't buy sale items just because they are on sale.

I hate throwing the paper away every Sunday... but I save enough money for it to be worth it every week.
