Humzoo March Madness - Final Four Recap
Wow. What a weird night of basketball.
My friends and I got all settled down Saturday night with a batch of chili and some pigs in a blanket, and boy were we in for a strange ride.
UNC almost overcame the biggest deficit in NCAA Final Four history… but it was not to be. UNC had been SO STRONG throughout the whole tournament, but they were simply shut down by the Kansas defense.
UNC went without a bucket for NINE WHOLE MINUTES during an 18-0 run by Kansas that rocketed the score up to 40-12 in the first half.
The Jayhawks were all over Tyler Hansbrough like white on rice.
In the second half, UNC came out with renewed energy and cut the lead to only 4 points, but Kansas proved to be too strong, and UNC fell. Hard.
At this point in the Humzoo March Madness pool, we still have a Pike in first place, and Bill P is still holding strong due to all his early round picks. Also, a strong showing by the ladies in the group.
It's pretty clear how it's all going to shake down, since only three players (Betsy, Courtney and Biker Ben) have their champion still alive.
In the end, it all comes down to two. Kansas vs. Memphis will play for the prize tonight at 9:20 EST.

By all expenses, I mean you have to pay them all to get to our house. Congrats! I beat Denny by a few points, that is all I care about!
